my power locks aren't working

i have been searching day and night to find if the dashboard harness will plug n play into the white lock box with no problem.

i have power windows and have installed the power locks actuators.

the problem i have is my dashboard harness doesnt have a plug for the white box that controls the power locks.

i have also read that people have wired their door actuators to their alarms for keyless entry . if anybody have pics or a brief description on how to do that i would greatly appreciate it.

i currently have the following installed

99-00 floor harness
99-00 power windows
99-00 door locks

 

C451 is on the main wire harness:

 

the plug for the white box comes from the dash harness.

 

The service manual diagram shows the plug on the left branch of the main harness.

The plug is not found on the dash harness:

 

Can you take a picture of this whitebox you're talking about?

 

The door lock relay box actually sits in the driver side door, I think thats what you are referring to?

 

It's specific to 99-00 Civics with power locks/keyless and is located behind the driver's kick panel.

 

You may be right, I remember running wires there for my alarm.

 

thanks for all the helpful replies. will my car work the same if i change the main harness to ex or si harness?

also do you think i can just cut the 18p connector from a ex/si at a junk yard and wire it to my main harness?

 

You better not, its a pain to get down there. Depending on if your car is an auto or manual I suggest you pull the harness accordingly, The car came with an auto, find an auto main harness, car was a 5spd/manual, find a 5spd/main harness.
