I am trying to do a complete power conversion on a 00 EK hatch. What I didnt realize was that I needed a power lock control box for the power locks. They say its by the driver side kick panel but I cant seem to find one so I believe I dont have one. Also they said that it might be connected to the dash harness and not the floor harness or door harness. I just want this to be verified because if it is connected to the dash harness, am I gonna have to remove the whole dash to replace the DX harness? I got a complete 00 EX harness with the floor, door, and dash harnesses. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

hey, I recently rebuilt a 2000 Si and had to re-connect the power locks.
With that said, the lock box is connected to the main wire harness, to get to the harness you have to remove the dash. it's separate from the floor and dash harness.
you may want to check to see if you have a plug for the box since it may already be included. this is gonna save a lot of heartache and time.
the lock box is white by the way if you didn't know, if by any chance you do need a main harness I have a spare from another Si if need be.

Would you happen to have a picture of the plug? Or know what the plug looks like? And how big is the lock box?

its a gray plug.. ill try and take a photo of it tomorrow, the box is about the size of two or three cd cases stacked on top of each other. lol.

but yeah, you'll have to change the underdash harness, but if your hatch is a 00' it will be easier than when i did this with my 96'
