Default 94 EGR Issues

The car is a 94 F22B1. I went to the beach for a few days, and when I cranked the car and drove a block, the check engine light came on. I could stop the car and crank it again and the light stayed off. So I got home and pulled the ECU codes and it came back a code 12, which is EGR. What seemed odd is that the light would come on, then after the motor was warmed and re-cranked, it would stay off. Before I start throwing money at it, are there any suggestion as to where to start? Incidentally, once I got home and the car was garaged it the light didn't come back on. It was outside and hot at the beach. Possible issue? Don't know.

Never mind. Issue is resolved. The EGR wasn't plugged in. I had changed the VTEC solenoid gaskets and forgot to plug the EGR back in. Still, it's strange it only threw a code when the motor had just been cranked.

Makes sense. Once the motor was warm I guess the EGR was within the range the ECU expected it to be.
