ok so i over tightened my valve cover nut and the threaded part of the stud snapped so i still have a bit of thread left in my nut just stuck in there. I actually did this twice and i took one of the studs off fine but the other one (middle of valve cover) is stuck so tight the bolt got stripped (10mm) and vice grips wont work they just keep slipping. What do i do to take off the stud every possible option please!

 

take the VC off and remove the broken stud 90014-PR3-000 about $7 or can you net even get the but off the stud?.

hey man i got it! i hammered a 3/8 on there and it was tight enough to come off even though it was really stripped now the only problem is to get new studs. My engine is a jdm b18b so do you by any chance know the part number i tried searching and couldn't find anything. Thanks alot!

invest in that^^^ Call honda and get oem replacement bolts. they should have some that works..
