Crx will not start
What's guys I'm having trouble with my 89 crx si. Ok my was turning over fine but wouldn't start. Then on day I just got in it and it started up. It was running great. Then now it won't start again I'm getting fuel and spark. But did notice one thing that was crazy. When I turned they key to prime the pump the starter engaged and started up the instantly shut off.
Sounds like an ignition cylinder/switch. I personally never had the experience but from other people that experienced the problems their car would turn on and shut off, all sorts of weird stuff
When it shuts off, do the lights on your cluster turn off as well? If so, then it's likely it is a ignition cylinder/switch problem. Also, check and clean your grounds.
Ok this what I did today. I changed the main relay, ignition switch,. And I've tried a few diff clusters the only thing that comes on is the battery light, brake light, but I see the fuel needle move. Also forgot to mansion I've install 2 255 walbro fuel pumps and only getting 30psi. But injectors are spraying

sounds like trash in the line somewhere, you know how to do it
, pressure check from the tank to the fuel rail at every junction, find the clog, see where the psi is at at each interval. stainless braided fuel lines with an fittings from front to back is the only sure fire way to get solid reliable high psi if your doing a serious build , i dont want to risk a b18c or k motor thats built running any type of stock anything fuel line wise even though its entirely possible! ive seen gas spraying all over the place and its not a good thing !
what does it all come from ? trash in the gas tank most likely, even if you buy good fuel at chevron if the gas station is old and there holding tanks are old , well you get the picture, and even race fuel gets trash in it . sounds likes your setup is legit , so probably some trash somewhere that needs cleaning !

agreed most trash is from the steel tanks rusting and getting micro rust. **** get a magnetic charge and builds in size then clogs **** up bad. i would use 2 fuel filters if i was running aftermarket pumps man. on at the tank one in the bay to help prevent **** like that.
Ok guys this is what I did today. I Checked all the grounds 3 in the bay and 2 under dash. Then I pinched a fuel line when I primed the car and it jumped to 65 psi. I sprayed lil more starter Fluid in and it still starts for a split second dies. I can post a vid of what it sounds like and pic of my setup
try this..... get a braided fuel line ran from the tank(a spare race fuel cell or even a large gas can will do in pinch lol!), to the fuel rail with a pump in it somewhere, . make sure all that stuff is clear of debris/trash , run it outside the car completely seperate from your cars fuel system , , like running a speaker wire from one end of the house to the other to make sure its a good run before installing the wire and speaker in the home,
once youve ruled out the fuel problem ,
then its on to air and spark
