Under side skirt dent

Under side skirt dent
Today i was cleaning my R and removed sideskirt and found dent under it like it seems like the previous owner scrapped or hit something is this common or is my chassis damaged?

What are your cars specs?
Year, Color, Badge?
If the specs fit, it could be possible you have my friends that fell off a jack stand in his garage.
Is it driver or passenger side?

Its a 1997 everything stock i can still mount the sideskirt it just bothers be that its their and its like dented in
