Default 5th Gen Euro-R swap w/ chipped P28.

Alright, if you read my other post, my custom harness didn't work. No CEL and the fuel pump didn't prime.

So, I think I've found everything I need to do in order to run the euro-r with a chipped P28. I've got a short list of what needs to be done below. Please let me know if I am missing anything.

1. Swap h22a4 harness onto euro-r.
2. Rewire tdc and ckp to dizzy.
3. Run two wire iacv with block off plate.
4. Swap EGR.

Things I'm unsure of:

Should I remove the evap purge from the euro-r fuel rail and run the original 97 purge on the firewall?

If I swap the usdm crank pulley will I also need to swap the usdm a/c and p/s pulleys or can I leave the JDM one on?

Do I need to swap the speed sensor from the usdm trans to the euro-r trans or will the euro-r vss work fine with the p28?

Thank you in advance for offering advice.

Also, can I run the euro-r VTEC solenoid or will I need to run the 97 solenoid?

*edit- VTRs -> VTEC.

Have you tried checking the fuel pump relay?

You are going obd1 with a P28, try to find a Obd1 harness. If you have a A4 one already it can be used, but with need jumpers for injectors, alternator, dizzy, and for the ECU itself. Would be best to get a adjustable TD-61U dizzy.

Why not just delete CPS or EGR? Your going to be odb1, just ditch emissions all together, Gas evap included.

You deleting your IACV? You wont need to run wires with a block off plate... Unless you meant a JDM-2-USDM IACV adapter plate.

All H series crank pullies should be the same, just single or double. Some had electric steering.

I have a Euro-R T2W4 myself, my obd1 harness plugged strait into it. It should work, I hope for my sake lol.

95% of Jdm engines dont have vtec solenoid pressure switches. I wont say 100% because Im sure maybe some sub models edition of something might have came with one i dont know. Either will work, but if you use the JDM one remove the bolt, and swap over the solenoid. If oil pressure is too low, it stops vtec from engaging.

I meat IACV adapter. I don't want to delete it as it is my girls vehicle and were moving to Colorado this fall for school... Shell complain if she has to do anything out of the ordinary fr cold starts.

Also, I'm concerned about emissions testing in Colorado. I've done some google searches but my interet access is limited to a cell phone most of the time, so I'm still undecided on the emissions control until I find out more about their testif.

Thanks for the help!
