When its not blowing cold - is the compressor engaged and spinning?

No, it don't engage at all, Looks like the electro magnet is bad, there is 12 + volts at the compressor terminal, thought at first maybe a thermal switch but there forewent appear to be on this compressor, looks like I'll replace the compressor because a new click is 165 through 210 + shipping and I found a compressor kit for 255 with free shipping. If you have any more ides please let me know. Thank you for responding.

If you've verified you're getting 12v signal to engage, at the compressor connector, then your issue is with the compressor or compressor clutch.

I replaced the electro mag coil and it worked for about 5 minutes and it appears that the new coil has burned up, any ideas, the old one ohmed open.

Normally replace clutch/coil, stator, and relay together. did the old relay happen to rattle internally?

Out of curiosity, what is the status of the cabin air filter?
