2005 honda civic ex 1.7l I have a hard misfire I've been trying to trace down codes are p0300- p0303x2 an p0301 p0304 p0302 valves adjusted to .007 intake .008 exhaust new Ngk lazer itridums new coils seafoamed it twice cleaned egr new intake gasket set and still the car has not changed any ideas

 

How long has this been going on? Maybe bad gas?

 

It been going on for a few weeks now several tanks have gone threw since it started I just did a compression test #1 was at 190psi #2 is 178psi #3 is 85psi an #4 is 180psi ... I checked # 3 a second time this time I added a little oil an it went up to 100psi I'm thinking head gasket or bad rings a mechanic friend said possibly valve seats??? What do you think

 

Do a leakdown test to determine where the compression loss is.

 

I did a compression test and found that I was 190+/- like 15psi in all but one my number 3 cylinder was 80 psi I thought rings decided to pull the head off an seen that the valves were loose called a few machine shops and I found that it's their #1 and happens with the d17a2 every 100k or less ... so I got an 2005 honda civic ex for sale Lmfao
