Need help on checking fan relays
I was reading this post about it and had a few questions.

On the coolung fan relay, how do you check for continuity, do i testit on the relay a and b terminals? On that thread it says "while connected to battery" so i assume i have to check the plug for the relay(harness plug)
Well i did both and i got:
A) on the plug on harness, i got 1 when multimeter on the 200ohms setting.
B) on relay i got 1 when testing the a and b terminals, but got like 190 ohms when testing the other 2 terminals.( the side with the swirly line)
Some stuff about my car:
- cooling fan on a switch at the moment
- i jumped the thermo switch with a paper clip and the fan didnt come on
- i switched the relay with 2 others, but they arent new so idk if theyre good.
- my ac fan comes on, when ac isnt turned on, it pretty much turns on when my car gets hot.
