Has anyone used one of these?

Pretty sure the Magnaflow on my daily is starting to poop out, it smells a bit and my gas mileage has been steadily tapering off. Price is right on these and it would save me some welding.
If not I'll probably just get a Magnaflow.

Thinking I might not get too much response ion here since running a cat seems to be the exception rather than the norm.
I stumbled on it while contemplating the purchase of a <$50 resonated test pipe just to see if it solves my issue. My current cat was purchased used, so it is of questionable history. It also may have been poisoned by my experimentations with lean-ish burning.
It's a pretty freaking small catalyst:

That cat is probably not cleaning up very much NOX. I will probably order a 300 cell from SMSP:

I suspect that the SMSP cats are in fact the Magnaflow cats anyway (they do sell Magnaflow on their website).
Does anyone have a current email for them? The one on their website comes back undeliverable.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and guess that Dave @ SMSP has moved on to other ventures.
I've tried two different emails without any reply, his website hasn't been updated for nine years, and he hasn't been active here for a couple.
I'm on the fence as to whether I should just grab the PLM or get a bare cat and do the fab myself (which I just really don't have the time for these days). Time for some shopping. Anyone know of anywhere I can get something pre made that I can just bolt up and go?

Got a cat from PLM in the mail yesterday:

Looks to be pretty decently made. It is in fact just a 200 cell. I might put it in tonight after dinner, we'll see how I feel after a beer or two. I was contemplating running a bead of weld around the slip joints after I got it set, but I think I'll play that by ear and just do it if it leaks or rattles.
Ordered through here, Kevin was super helpful and returns PM's really quick. Great service.

Update:
After not being happy with the initial fit-up and tracking my issues back to other sources, the PLM cat sat in a box until the middle honeycomb broke loose and started rattling around in the Magnaflow.
So I finally got around to installing this thing. It was a little too long so I had to cut 3/4" off of the front tube to get it to fit between the header and the b-pipe. No big deal, 10 seconds on the chop saw handled that. I kinda wish I could have squeezed it down another 1/4" but the O2 bung is already against the female end of the joint. Oh well.
The main bogey was the spring bolts. With no springs the bolts barely fit:

I don't no if any longer spring blots are out there or where to get them, so I cobbled something together out of some old sway bar end links and some sleeve I had laying around:

That'll have to do, for now at least. Otherwise everything seems peachy.
