1/8th mile spin fest new car and new setup.
Got my first passes in this past Friday evening. I have had very limited driving time in this car around town and these were my first passes down the track in a few years. Suspension needs to be adjusted for sure as well as some more seat time and a few other adjustments. Not bad for my first time out on a track that isn't known for being that great. Not going to complain though, at least I have a track within an hour from my house.
This is a pump gas tune (Treblic Tuned) and it is on lower boost because of that. Not even using any boost control on it right now. I have all of that on the car, just not wanting to push it to the limits on pump gas. I would rather have it live for a while. Just a little something to have fun with.

Not sure what the purpose of your post was?
Looking good Travis. Good to see you back in a turbo car, its been a while since the EG. Bring that thing to Piedmont, Im sure I can find a race or 2 for you.
Thought about bringing it to Piedmont on May 31st to Dragging Rights. Running it in the manual shootout class that day. It might be a waste though. I have heard reports of guys bringing straight up race cars and entering it in that class. Kind of hard beating a really well setup RWD race car in the 1/8th.
Rules are:
Engine: Any engine or power adder combo is acceptable.
Tire: Unlimited
Transmission: Any clutch assisted fully manual transmission.
No backhalfs
1/8 Mile w/ Pro Tree.
I know Howard Shoaf entered a class like this at Rockingham one time. I think it might have been when he wrecked his Integra. I think he was low qualifier for that one and I think his brother went on to win that race with his turbo Corvette. I asked what some thought would be competitve for the class and they predicted that if you could run high 6's you could probably run in the class.

She fell on her face in third. Spin city fosho!! 5 or 6speed.?
I went out yesterday and had the sunroof blow off a customer car at 139mph... That was a first!

Base model RSX 5 speed with a Quaife is what is in the car and I have a spare that I picked up a few weeks ago. I didn't realize that 1st and 2nd gear were that short in those transmissions until I went to the track with it. That was the first time I had really got on it hard in those gears.
Like I said, the track I took it to is not known for being a great track. There is very little prep. On the 31st of this month I may take it to another track which is a lot nicer. The track I ran on in the video just so happens to be the closest track to where I currently live.

Thanks for the compliment man. It has been a while since I last ran my old EG.
