Default Need tips for drive side axle removal

Im replacing ball joint, but im stuck at axle removal from hub. I tried hammering it out with taps on the spindle, I tried using a hub puller tool with airgun and still can't loosen it. Im trying to be as careful as possible to not harm anything in the transmission.

yeah, I've pulled them off once a corolla and remember it being easy to do. Ive been soaking the axle with PB Blaster all day and been hitting it with a 2lb rubber mallet a few times see if it breaks it loose. I'm letting it soak overnight, if I can't remove it in the morning I'm going to have to remove it from the transmission and take it to a shop so they can press it out.
