My car is all stock, and the first thing I would like to change is the way it sounds (I don't feel a need to mess with the V6 VTEC). It's my only car so I don't really want anything very loud, but I would like more engine "rumble". Do I need to replace the entire exhaust system, or just the Cat? I don't know. What are your thoughts?

I'm relatively new to the car mod scene, and just trying to get an idea of some good exhaust options. Please let me know what you think, and what you have.

 

You would not mess with the cat. You can just change the muffler at the back to get a louder sound. Every muffler sound different, and different people have different tastes in how much 'rumble' they want. Check out sound clips on youtube.
