Before I go into detail, I have been to the FAQ section! I know you have to use 90-93 Integra Axles.. 94 and up with a different intermediate shaft.. etc...

My car is a 1988.. STD Model.. B16a with the YS1 Transmission..

The swap was ordered from H motors, they sent me the Axles and the Integra Knuckles Etc..

My driver axle broke today.. I went to the auto parts store to purchase a new one.. I bought one for a 93 Integra.. Not knowing if it had to be GSR, LS, RS.. Etc.. Installed the axle! Went on a test drive and the axle was not acting right! Lots of thumping.. and knocking.. Everything was installed correctly.. Did it multiple times!

I am going to post a picture of the axle I removed.. If anyone can tell me where to get this identical one, it would be greatly appreciated! Or if you could please point me in the right direction as to what I need to get this done! I am sure the axle did not come from the united states, but I could totally be wrong! Just need some help!

Every axle pulled from the parts store did not have the bumper/balancer on it!

Any help would be more than greatly appreciated!

Get the axle you bought replaced under warranty. Auto parts store axles are known to be hit or miss. Any 90-93 integra driver side axle will fit.

 

The axle that I pictured above is from h motors, just installed them about 3 months ago.. I'm guessing that one was just shot.. I guess tomorrow I will go to napa or bap geon and see if I can't get this thing wrapped up.. Thank you for your reply to my post!

Also, does it matter which model from 90-93?
