Default Brake warning light wires

Morning H-T.

I'm looking to find where the wires for the brake master cylinder 'low fluid warning' switch originate from. There's two wires, one is a ground the other i can't find on my harness anywhere.

I've looked at the wiring diagrams and it's mentioned in a few places but i can't seem to find it.

Any help would be appreciated.

if it's missing, it's most likely cut off at the nearest loom to the cap, should be a ground wire and the wire going to the warning light together

Appreciate the input, but it isn't. I tucked the harness myself a while ago, and for the life of me i'm not sure where this wire went. My guess is that i've routed it with another section of the loom, however the only way to tell is to find where the wire comes from and trace it.

The green/red wire that connects to the cap, where does that go to in the harness?

Thanks guys.

its part of the driver side headlight loom with only a 1" lead.

so yes, if you tucked the whole harness, you need to extend it. should be easy enough.

or... dont bother. do you really need that dummy light?

Yeah it should be easy enough. But I can't find it, do you know where the wire originates from?

The problem is that the light remains on, and it's annoying. I could remove the bulb... Or I could just fix the problem.

The ground wire follows the headlight harness up to the headlight, however the OTHER wire follows X harness under the dash, therefore i'm looking to find where that OTHER wire ORIGINATES from (and it does not originate from the headlight).

Appreciate the quip, would appreciate help more so.
