Default timing belt snapped

Thank you Honda for putting reliefs in the pistons.
Any way so I'm not 100% sure I have everything lined up. I'm coming here for confirmation. Here are some pictures of where things sit as of now. I took some pictures and made a collage because I only have on of those 1/4 extensions. this is how the pistons are right now. With the timing marks on the harmonic balancer and block lined up. Next is a picture of the distributor and where the rotor is with the word UP on the cam gear pointed up. And where the cam lobe is. Thanks if I didn't word something right LKM I'll try again thanks.

The picture of the cam lobes are to the cylinder closest to the distributor. I'm also having a hard time finding out the firing order for the distributor and cylinders. I've seen online 4321 with
34
12
On the distributor
And then I've seen 1342 which I believe is correct but have found nothing else for the distributor

Firing order is 1,3,4,2 repeat.

Just remember , you always count cylinders starting from the timing belt.

Starting from the timing belt why is that. I don't understand. From the pictures do you agree or not agree. I have everything aligned and I can start doing this timing belt

because Honda numbers them from the end with the pulley first

So cylinder
4321 has
1342 firing order
So when they say cylinder 1 @ tdc they mean #2 in the firing order? & so with the collage picture would you say I have cylinder 1 or 4 @ tdc?
& also what about the distributor? Do I have it right?

number one is nearest crank pulley, so it fires 1 then 3 then 4 then 2 the wires on the dizzy have to be set up to make it fire that way, i'm trying to remember rotation on that one, but it gets set to number one ready to fire with 1 on top dead center on the compression stroke, then number three wire is next on the firing order etc, should get it close enough to run then time with a timing light after that

I think the distributor rotates clockwise since the cam itself rotates counterclockwise correct?

Disregard the fact that it's not the same engine. Firing order is the same. Pay attention to the flat side of the distributor cap.

From the pictures you posted in your first post it appears your "mechanical timing" is correct. After the belt is installed rotate the crankshaft counterclockwise (facing the timing belt side obviously) and verify that the camshaft and crankshaft are still in time relative to one another.

Hitting what? Do you mean you haven't taken anything apart yet?
