well i have a 96 honda civic sedan my gas pedal sticks and is stiff to push
and the throttle body cable comes off when i fully open it it comes off now i tightened it up some so the rpm is still fine but when i open it all the way it still comes off any suggestions thanks and hope this was okay

 

Post pictures of your throttle body where the cable comes off.

 

yeah im going to try and do that today any suggestions about the pedal even when sitting still i push it all the way down it sticks could that be the spring in the pedal

 

Suggestions? Yeah. The throttle cable. Take pictures of it. You have a phone that takes pictures?

 

Also clean the throttle body.
