doesn't that kinda suck though cuz now you wont get proper traction up till about 60mph??? or can you boost like 3psi??? that's what we did with my friends vtec car cuz I would always smoke the **** out of him with only 220hp in a heavier integra. then with 3psi he got me and with boost by gear we got it to ramp up in higher gears. look into that unless this is a slicked down car. then obviously your good lol cuz even drag radials wont really work and itll just slug you down in higher gears. BTW he never looked back hehe once he hooked every gear

3psi? No traction at 320?
With a proper set of tires you can hook 320 from 1-5 no problem.
My only question is why did you stop at 8psi?

Because he (slayer) has ovaries... and Chinese turbo parts.
srdftitan is somewhat local and I can tell you he has a super clean build with all of the right parts in the right places, hence 320@8psi on 93

Odd looking 60-1...i've only seen them in the S-cover, not the E.
Is it still a stock block? If so, plans to build? The turbo is oversized for what you're doing...curious if there is more to come

You are absolutely correct, I'm running Falken Azenis all the way around right now and traction is ok for the most part. I stopped at 8 psi because I do not have a boost controller that is working at the moment. All I'm using right now is the wastegate.

The block is not stock, it is built from the top to the bottom. The turbo is perfect for my goals as ultimately I will be staying in the turbo's effeciency range wants the boost is turned up. Everything was put together for a 450 to 500 hp end result, but most likely I will hover around the low 400's because of traction problems and overall reliability. I'm just taking my time. This is my hobby so there will always be more to come. If your interested feel free to check out my build thread.

I'll be sure to check in on the progress. Once you turn up the boost, that turbo will really start to shine. Are you going to run 92-93oct, e85, C16?

I'm going to stick with 93 octane. I want this build to be something that I can enjoy without having to worry about things like where I'm going to have to get gas. There are not a lot of places around me that have e85.

To date there are only 4 e85 stations in ga. one in Buford, two in downtown Atlanta, and one in Warner Robins.
at least those are the only ones in the e85 registry

lol no I don't have ovaries im just thinking in a practical way. obviously in third and up i would increase but like below 60mph u wont hook on streets(which is wat I was referring to, not slicks which are diff story). nothing wrong with 3psi in first gear lol
n I dont have china turbo
its actuallyrebuilt garret from pure turbos in oceanside. what a coincidence. good work. I been beating the crap out of mine for almost 2 years and no smoke with 20+ psi

I can tell you there are none north of Atlanta. **** a new racetrac just opened, no e85 but they have ethanol free 87... Wtf
I'm halfway tempted to open a gas station just to have local e85. I have access to e85, 100 octane oxygenated, and 116 leaded oxygenated but that's only at the race track. I'm about to start working there so maybe I'll just bring drums to work lol.

I have personally driven a 360whp B/Vtec and it had no problems hooking 1st-5th as long as you didnt dump the clutch... And that was with cheapo 'iron man' tires lol
