had an aftermarket avital alarm system in my car and it has been giving me starting issues lately, at least i beleive its the root of the issues
i uninstalled it last night and the car still wont start. just cranks over. i beleive the main relay isnt getting power. where do i check to see if its getting power??

So my honda does not have a relay like that. I've looked and looked and the only relay I find is above the steering column on the right side. It's a 6 pin. With key on engine off there is no power to any of the pins on the connector. All under dash and under hood fuses are good. I've switched that relay out with 4 different ones from friends efs and nothing. No clicking. Any idea where I should be looking? Or if anyone Can tell me where to check for power to that relay?

 

My bad found it gave it a couple whacks and she runs lol. Gonna go pick up a new one.

 

Any one have problems with the ignition switch, I have been having a intermittent crank/ start/ shut down, I am suspecting the switch is going bad when it returns to the on position it transfer the power.
