My Passenger side front lower mount needed replacement. I noticed that the old mount and the new mount do not fit tightly over the mount shaft, but that there is about 1/2 inch of play between the parts. Is this normal? I also noticed that the washer that fits over the mount shaft has slots that fit over hex grooves at the base of the mount shaft threads. When the nut is tightened over the washer, the washer should force the mount shaft to "center" in the mount sleeve.
