I'm looking to get my self a set of status carbonfiber ring seats and would like some opinions pro's,con's please
At $1300+ a seat (for an FIA approved seat), those are horribly overpriced for what you get.
Carbon Kevlar Suzuka Pro-Fit's are $800 a piece, and meet higher durability standards.
STATUS - (a term used, in this case, for a person who has money to waste)

I was using their site for pricing, as I didn't know off the top of my head. The price they list for their cheapest FIA rated Carbon Fiber bucket is $1300. I didn't bother checking the non-FIA approved stuff, though.

Thank you guys,I'm getting them for way cheaper then 1300 a seat I'm trading my black recaro sand Jdm rear seats for a set in red to put in my black type R what do you guys think on that for a trade?
As long as they're the FIA rated seats, I'd say you're getting a good deal.

Status seats are just OK seats. Mugen S1 seats feels better IMO. Had spider cracks on my Kevlar seats when I got it directly from Status USA. Had stress cracks on the mounting points.
Not good for everyday driving. Bolster is so high and getting in and out is a chore. Long distance is great. Mine had memory foam so can't tell you with just basic foam.

I disagree about the Mugen S1s. They didn't hold me nearly as well as the Stätus do. I've had both at the same time. They are great for long trips. I've done 10+ hour long trips in them and I found it very comfortable. It's a much different feel than an SRD.

So would you say the status feel better then the srd's??, I understand they do not recline like the srd's but I'm not really worried about that since I like to sit straight up when I drive.
The Recaros are more forgiving. You feel everything in the bucket. But it's still plenty comfortable. Once you get the proper setting with height, it's a great feeling. I wouldn't trade them for another seat. I haven't had any cracks like the other guy.

The red tweed cloth ones?, if so then I think so,he's gonna let me try one on too see I like it before we trade which is pretty awesome of him to do so.
Yeah, he's a cool dude. If you were further North, I'd do the same. Mine are currently sitting in my garage until my car is finished.
