Default Cracked mounting point on block

I have a B18B1 that I pulled out of a swapped 93 EX. It's a strong engine and I plan to put it in a Del Sol and eventually boost it. After I pulled it I noticed the cracks where the left side mount bolts on.

Has anyone repaired anything like this? The bottom mount/threads are intact, but the top two have a pretty good crack that goes up to about 1/2 the depth of the threaded area. It also looks like all 3 were re-drilled and tapped for a larger bolt than original

For cheap, I am thinking of JB weld and studs to repair/replace the top two holes. Bad idea?

would steer clear of the JB weld ... JW how did that happen???? you could prolly get away with someone that has a tig welding them up but just depends on how bad it is

jb weld is just super glue...welding it is your best option.

Thanks... The more I think about it the more it seems like a bad idea. I'll probably just swap the internals (Eagle Rods/Forged pistons) to another block and CL that block cheap.

... JW how did that happen????
Not sure how it happened, but my guess is that the guy who put it in the civic used the wrong bolts and torqued 'till it cracked. It was in the car and not visible when I bought it.

JB weld could work, but not for long. I have an H22 in an EG, and the drivers side post mount only had 2 bolts holding the thing in, ( out of 5 total bolts) and I JB welded the mount to the block and it held up for about 6 months, Till I bottomed out and broke it back off.

But I would NOT recommend it.
