Whats going on fellow 8th genners! So I have a problem, my reverse lights do not come on. I recently completed my auto to manual swap and the shop that did the wiring to make it run seems as if they didnt wire the reverse sensor. How hard would that be to do? considering under my dash is all wiring for an automatic.

 

If you paid a shop to do the work for you they should be responsible for completing the job!

If you haven't a clue what is going on under the dash best bring it back and have them take care of it... you technically paid for it!

 

Only problem with that is the shop is 4 hours away from me. I only went there because I was tired of the local shops blowing me off or they were too busy to do something with my car. I guess I technically did but I kinda didnt pay for that. I paid them to make it run and run it is! So idk I think thats a gray area :/

 

I understand but when you pay to get something to run... it's suppose to be everything.

You would need to read up on a auto to manual swap for the 06-11 civic. To be honest, I haven't even seen any... I guess it's not as popular as it was back in the EG and EK days. I will poke around and see if we can find something to help.

How technical are you? How comfortable are you working with wiring and wiring diagrams?
