Default For the people who have changed oil pan on RT4WD models

In the process of changingthe gasket and i cant fully remove the transfet case cover, i have pryd it out but one bolt wont come out( its loose) cuz the oil pan literally blocks it. How do i go about this? Do i have to drop the bottom mount so the tranny goes down a bit? Heres a pic

you have to remove the tranny itself. the way they put this together was not meant for the average home mechanic. that bolt in the picture is just to allow you to swing the cover but not remove it. if you want to move it, you will need to remove the tranny. and that is a bigger job to do. youll need a cherry picker as an additional tool
