Default D16Z6 oil pan removing

Im trying to remove my oil pan in a 94 ex, I have taken off my down pipe. and two arms that where in my way. The oil pan is free to fall. no bolts or anything on it. But the smaller part at the end is stuck behind a black cover. I would unbolt the cover but one bolt is behind the tranny. Do i need to lift the tranny or is there another way?

Unbolt the flywheel cover and the pan should come right off.
All bolts are easily accessible and shouldnt be a problem removing.

May I ask why you are removing the oil pan? Gasket replacement???

The leaking from the timingcover could be the oil pump seal.
