Default B16a2 fuel pressure rises high

I have on my fuel pressure guage that it's reading way past max. Meter does a full circle and buries the needle past max around till it can't go anymore. Why is it doing this? What do I do?

It could just be a bad gauge or something like a clogged fuel pressure regulator or return line. If the car is running fine then I would assume it is the gauge. If it isn't a liquid filled one then they have a much higher failure rate. Swap out the gauge for a known good one or use a fuel pressure tester.

Thanks. It's a liquid filled one but I will try those first

if your PFR is bad then it'll get stuck closed and cause this problem. this is more common on boosted engines.
