transmission issue?

Default transmission issue?

Ok so I have a 96 civic 5 speed all of my gears are good no grinds no popping out but 5th has trouble coming out I have to force it out sometimes I was thinking maybe a syncronizer was bad or my linkage was bad but idk if anyone has had this problem or any idea what it could be that would be helpful thanks

You're only gonna find out one way. Look to see if your linkage is binding up on something under the car. If not your probably gonna have to pull it.

I think I got the same issue. Try and see if you are shifting right too. Sometimes I notice that my shifting is off

Really? Is ur car pretty stanced? Because mine is and I was thinking maybe sitting so low I bent the linkage or something? And I thought that too at first but it haven't changed...when I first start the car and drive its the hardest to get out but after I drove for awhile it gets easyer to come out

Being low has nothing to do with your shifting rods. Check em out and make sure nothings getting in the way. If not you only got one way. Is it hard to get in all gears? clutch engage nicely?

Well the reason I said that is cause maybe I hit something and it bent u kno...but no its easy in every gear just 5th is hard to get out sometimes and yes it engages good
