Trying to find a gasket
Hi All,
I found an oil leak that I have been trying to track for months now. I just need to know the name of the gasket. I have tried searching online for it but I just can't find it. The location(when looking under the hood) is on the back left corner of the valve cover, but its not the valve cover. Its not directly under the oil distributor, but its close. It is not the black hose that comes out of the main head, but it is just behind that. Could it be the solenoid gasket?? I have the 4 cylinder LX sedan. I don't know too much names and such. Somebody please help me!!

Looks like the vtec solenoid. Mad mike might know it better. Take the bolt out and check for a gasket or oring and replace it ha also check majestic honda for parts diagrams and that may help you
Yes, the red arrow is close, but its where the cylinder head and the vtec solenoid make connection. What type of gasket is this? Also, if I get all the way in there, do I just replace the gasket where that connection is or is there more I should also replace?
The year of your car would have helped. Its the vtec solenoid.
Replace #10 and #12.
Replace #12 while it is on the car.

Theres two gaskets(Actually O-Rings) you can get them from the dealers, theyre like $10 for both. One, attaches VTEC to head(It has a screen in it) the other attaches the solenoid to the valve.
I found them at my local dealer and a youtube video on how to do it!
Now I am trying to figure out how to actually do it...without taking off the thermostat housing....
