Default Integra front brake conversion

I've got a 99 Civic LX, and I've read the sticky with the brake conversion chart. But on there it says I need to change the knuckle to an EX knuckle. I already have an integra knuckle, because I keep seeing a few people that are using integra knux on their EKs. Is this the right way to go about things?

It wouldn't be difficult for me to go get an EX knuckle and swap it over, but more money is no fun, plus I've already painted the teg knuckles.

I still have yet to get brake lines and pads, so no rush. Thanks for any info!

You can use integra knuckles. You want integra brake hoses so that they attach properly and you'll need an alignment pretty badly after doing the swap. The geometry of the integra knuckle is different.

Okay cool. I figured as much, but I wanted to be sure. I already have stainless hoses on order, and pads are next check. I probably should just do the swap ON an alignment rack. I knew they were a little different.

Non ITR integra front rotors are 10.3". Same as 92-95 Civic EX (ABS), and 96-00 Civic EX/Si.

**this whole time, I've been referring to 94-01 integra rotors and knuckles. I believe 90-93 integra rotors are the same...but not sure if those knuckles work on 92-00 Civics.

And you prolly need the ITR's hubs to use the biggest rotors?

Huh?

If you want ITR sized brakes, you can use mini cooper rotore and ITR calipers/brackets up front. EP3 rotors and ITR calipers/brackets in back. You can do this with Integra/EX/Si knuckles.

Huh? DC2 ITR/ EK9 CTR brakes are 11.1" fronts and 10.x" rear for the 5 lug version. Those are the biggest factory brakes for civics/integras of the time period we are discussing (anytime before 2002).
