my TPS is reading is 0.13 Volts closed throttle
its ashame how many ppl post about the throttle position sensor..... there are slits so u can move it side to side for a reason.. calibrate it closed at .5v closed with the motor off but in the start position.. and then when its at .5v closed bolt it down and recheck.. then measure at wide open throttle... theres a bump stop for the throttle which can be adjusted for WOT if it doesnt read correctly.. once u have the tps calibrated unplug the battery for a few mins so the ecu resets -.-

the rings should be there but i dont think it will really do much since the inside sits in a slit on the tb. however, if u think the tps is bad u can always buy a new 1 from advanced auto etc and see if it reads right. if not u can return, or u can always clean ur old 1 up and return that and keep the new 1. seen some crazy **** when i worked there and i dont blame them

Pins 1 and 2 ---> 0.11 kohms

You should have .5v at closed throttle. . . If it is not reading that then loosen the bolts, twist the tps until you have .5v. Make sure your throttle cable isn't too tight. I have seen where the cable was adjusted poorly and it caused the throttle to slightly crack open when it was supposed to be in the closed position.
