'97s seem to be the holy grail for a lot of potential and current ITR owners. First year, only 320 that year, different bumper, etc.
Here's the spec's on what im talking about:
Mostly Stock '97
105k Miles
Clean Title
8.5/10 Exterior
9+/10 Interior
4 owners (Owners 2 and current owner 4 are the same)
It was hit in the front and had i believe 1 fender and bumper replaced. (Not 100% on which panels have or have not been replaced/painted yet with my own eyes)
She has been babied and garaged and gotten less than 10k miles in the past 5 or 6 years. Gets started and jockeyed around the garage but thats about it.
Im goin to see it sometime this week or over the weekend so I'll get some pics of it then, but just to start discussion what kind of value would you put on it??

The "holy grail", at this point, is any ITR with low mileage, no accidents and a good history.
As for years/colors...different folks want different things.
I'm pretty sure that most folks on here would take a mint 50K 2000 PY ITR over a 105K '97 ITR that has been in a few fender benders (assuming the price was close).
With that said though, if you really prefer a '97, then go for it. As for price, it all depends.

Sounds to me like a ~$12,000 car... a non-wrecked & low mileage 97 is definitely rare but one that's been hit, repaired/painted, and over 100k is much more common.
I'd like to know more about the damage and repair beforehand. What is not stock? Do those stock parts come with the car? Something around $12K sounds reasonable though.

Second was avoiding a bigger accident and went off the road. Rear wheel was damaged and slightly bent the passenger rear trailing arm. RTA was replaced as well as LCA's although it was stated it was unnecessary for repair. *NOT through insurance/ NOT on Carfax* Cost was reasonable for out of pocket repair.
Both of these incidents were before 2nd owner which shows as 2005.
I gotta go get a look at it and see heR. He approached me with the deal so I gotta go check it out.
Thanks for the damage descriptions. With all of that said, the most important part here is the unibody. If there are any signs of it being twisted/crunched or out of spec in any way then that would greatly reduce it's value. I would be looking at where the damage was and look at where it connects to the unibody. eg: where the RTA attaches or where the fender and hood attach. Look for any crimping in the metal that would show a repair. That should tell you if the unibody took any brunt of the damage.
