Default Difference between brakes on 98 Civic EX and DX?

hey guys I got a dumb question to ask is there a difference between the brakes on a 98 Honda Civic EX model and the DX model

I think you mean knuckle, not spindle.

Rear drums are the same. The front rotors are larger. Ex has a different prop valve whereas the rest DX, Si, etc all share the same 4040 prop valve

Wrong for 96-00. All share same prop valve. 92-95 have different ones

I have found reputable posters claim the Si/DX/HX are the same but only the EX is different because the bias on large front rotors+rear drum(Ex) is not the same as large front+rear disc(si) or small front rotors + rear drum (DX hx)
If that is wrong then I apologize.

Part number for the proportioning valve for all 2 and 3 door 96-00 Civics, EXCEPT the EX and 99-00 HX.

46210-S04-912

Part number for the proportioning valve for all 4 door 96-00 Civics, EXCEPT the EX.

46210-S04-962

Part number for the proportioning valve for the 2 door 96-00 EX, and 99-00 HX.

46210-S04-852

Part number for the proportioning valve for the 4 door 96-00 EX (which evidently only came with ABS), as well as the ABS-equipped Integra sedan, Prelude sedan, and ABS-equipped Civic coupes.
