i know the rules for engine swaps is no engine swap of older years.. but since the b18c1 usdm gsr is from 94-01.. can i put it in my 02 civic ex? because the 7th gen civics start at 01.. so does that one year really make a difference? do the generations count or does it have to be then same year?..

 

No, you cannot do the swap. Just because the year is 1 off doesn't mean the entire body style is the same.
