Default something else causing main relay to go?

i have a 91 accord. while im driving the car feels like it shuts off then turns back on immediately and i hear a clicking and the check engine light comes on all at the same time. I changed the main relay a few weeks ago and a few days later the prob started again. did the fuel filter n pump. then dug deeper into the relay again. i took apart the relay like ive read and all the solder looks good. i also have read there should be 3 clicks during the whole start up process. it wouldnt start the other day and i was only getting the 2nd click. could the new relay be bad but the solder good? something else cause the relay to have problems? i really appreciate any help. ive been digging and digging and im really just at a stand still

hmm it actually sounds like an electrical issue. I would see what voltage you're maintaining while the car is sitting and idling. Also check your battery connections and cables. If they're loose fix them. You have an intermittent issue which leads me to a connectivity issue or even a bad wire somewhere. I'd get your volt meter out and get real familiar with it haha

Could this solder in the back middle be a problem? It's raised above the circuit board.

Those solder joints appear completely fine.

i tested the main relay harness for volts in the different pin sections. i got good volts on each of the 3 tests. the ECU and starter fuses are also good.
other then buying another relay what else should i try.
even tho the harness tested good could it still be ignition switch?
as of today the car is turning over but not starting.

ICM and Ignition coil are both good. today the main relay was clicking continuously. with these lights on the dash.....

the car would start up sometimes then die or idle for awhile then just die. when the relay was clicking i was alos getting a clicking from the plug on the little thing to the left of the battery..what is that.. heres a pic.

could it be a ground somewhere? and where should i look?i cant seem to find anything that shows where all grounds are.

any other help would be really helpful. i feel like im almost there to figuring it out.

You are so hellbent on the main relay being the issue it's obvious you're not going to listen to anything that doesn't reflect that so I'm not going to try. Good luck.

I'm not hellbent on that. It's new so I'm pretty sure it's not that. I tested the ingnitor like u said. I tested the ingnition switch like u said. But when it's clicking and clicking something is making it do that. So how is that hellbent? I asked about the grounds nothing with the relay.
