Repeated GSR Valve Adjustment..
SO, a while ago i miss shifted and accidentally went into 2nd (instead of 4th) from 3rd right at rev limiter. Bounced and over-revved a bit before i put in the clutch, but nothing too dramatic happened.
No power loss and everything ran fine after but my engine was pretty noisy. Did some research and determined i needed a valve adjustment. Once i got the clearances back to stock, the "tick" went away and everything was great.
Problem is, a month of DD later and the "tick" comes back. I adjust my clearance again, "tick" goes away.. until another month or so
WHY DO I HAVE TO KEEP ADJUSTING MY VALVE CLEARANCE???
Valve springs / retainers..? Rocker arms..? I'd rather just fix whatever is going on before i adjust my clearance again (for the 4th damn time ahah..)

Really, bent valves? My idle is fine, no power loss :S I dont want to take my head off just to find that they're ok..

mabe there is a problem with one, ore more of your valve or valve seats...
you are lucky that you have only to adjust valve crearence...

Alright sounds good, i should be able to get similar results with a compression test eh? i dont have access to compressed air.. If it is off i'll take off the head and see what my valves and seats are looking like
