So, I got the headgasket replaced on my f20b, can you confirm the head has been removed by visual inspection?

Another mechanic told me he doesn't believe the head has been removed and I'm getting played.

He pointed to these 2 bolts circled in red saying it doesn't look like they've been removed

And also that its dirty around where the head and block meet.

Surely these can't be "definite signs" that the head has not been removed?

 

Pull the plugs and inspect the gasket from inside the engine with a snake cam.

 

I don't have access to anything like that. Is it possible to get the head loose enough to have a peep under? Or do you have to take the cambelt off etc

The gasket is fine, and always was, my first mechanic told me I had a leak from there, so I paid him to fix it. Afterwards he told me he didn't see any evidence of it leaking.
Which is why I'm asking this. Because another mechanic believes the head has not been removed.
