Default sc for s2000, waste of $$??

i do not own s2000, and this topic may have been discussed before... but from what i heard, the comptech sc does not show significant improvement in 1/4 mile since the blower takes a long time to maximize the boost.. i'm not too sure about vortech, but it's the same centrifugal type blower.. any truth to that?

No truth to that statement.

Unless .75-1.00seconds isn't significant.

Dumping the clutch at 5,550rpm will be the lowest point in the power band you'll ever be in the 1/4mile. There is plently of power there too. 50% more power to the wheels isn't significant right?

If you are in Seattle I'll give you a ride sometime and you can tell everyone later if you noticed a difference.

for serious power, go with the speedcraft(sp?) turbo kit. now that makes great power. the only good thing about the supercharger is that it spools up quicker(crank driven) but is limited in hp output. F/I is not a waste of money if you do your research.

RT (aka RizzleThizzle here on Honda-Tech) was supercharged in both of the released volumes. In fact his avatar is a picture from the Laguna Seca event that later became Volume 2.

No, I was NA with just a JR Filter and 100lbs of Stereo equipment in Volume 2.

VERY stock in Volume 1's footage with the exception of the Science of Speed scene. That scene was shot right after I got back from ThunderHill this summer and explains why there is a 2.5ft long crack across my windshield.

Volume 3: ThunderHill will be the first Volume with the supercharger, but Volume 4 will probably have the footage of when it was first raced/installed. I was competing in an Autocross series and the extra power highlighted deficiencies in my driving technique: Cone Killing and course workers dodging at its best.
