Default Can I eliminate the annoying alternating blinker???

I have a 94 EX. The alternating blinker is annoying as hell on my car. It looks stupid and it also makes my turn signals blink faster than normal. No, it's not the same as hyper-flash...all bulbs work and are new.

How can I simply eliminate the alternating blinker? I'm guessing there's a relay separate from the main turn signal relay somewhere???

Any help is appreciated.

Whats the point? You can't tell that its doing it from inside the car anyways.

What's the point of having any exterior cosmetic modifications then if "you don't see them from inside the car?". Thanks for the useless comment.

I WANT to eliminate the alternating blinker because I don't like the LOOK of it AND as I stated, it seems to cause the blinkers to flash at a faster rate, which I don't like. People do and don't do things because of personal preference. The alternating blinker isn't aesthetically pleasing to me.

So, now that we got that out of the way...how are the 96/97 Accords wired that don't have this alternating blinker function? I would only guess that there's a separate relay to control the alternating function, but where?

Thanks in advance for any help.

I tried looking into this more yesterday after I got home from work. I realized that the alternating blinking only happened when either the running lights or headlights were turned on. So, when the headlight switch is in the off position, they blink simultaneously, like normal.

I want to figure this out because I'm thinking about rearranging how my running lights and turn signals are set up.

Anyone have a wiring diagram for the turn signals?
