93 prelude having water/radiator fluid leak

Default 93 prelude having water/radiator fluid leak

I have a 93 prelude with a f22a1 motor and its leaking water/radiator fluid somewhere near the thermostat n tranny I changed the hoses up where the thermostat and under the fuel injector I changed the thermostat and checked the other hoses and I still can't find where its leaking from anyone else have that similar issue that can help me out please?

you need to get it good and hot and have someone rev it while u take a good look at that area and hoses ...could be slight pinhole leak in a hose

when you changed the thermostat did you reseal the thermo housing? double check all hoses and tightend again, sometimes when the clamp goes into a slight angle it can leak through.

Could it be the thermo housing?

sometimes it happens, most thermo housings have gaskets & most times should always be replaced when replacing a thermostat. You can add Permetex Gray or Black to help seal the housing.

if that doesnt help, theres a couple small coolant lines that go to the bottom of the intake mani and then there's the connecting waterpipe that runs along the back side of the block from water pump to the t-stat housing, could be an o-ring went bad or pipe rusted.

it helps degreasing everything first and put it on stands and let it warm up and start checking with a flashlight
