Default Honda crank hardening

What process does honda use to harden cranks generally? They do it via nitriding, induction or that other dipping process I can't recall the name of right now?

I'm looking at undersizing my motorbike's crank but if I reharden specs are different to if I say **** it and don't do that. 0.010 or 0.25mm should be ok if it's induction, possibly nitride but not dipping. No idea how model specific they were about doing it, google has been no help.
