NO CRANK, FUEL PUMP PRIMES, SOLID CEL
Ok guys, hit a brink wall. Right now i have a condition where i have a solid CEL, wont crank but fuel pump primes, main relay is new. I get a flashing red light in my s200b blue box. I dont smell anything burnt in my ecu so plz dont tell me i damaged it (probably set me back another year). I am in the process of checking and cleaning grounds. What else could i do.?
Thermostat housing checked. I am looking at 2 solid black wires in the corner by the clutch pedal. The thick One is connected one skinny one isnt. I when tru with a test light and all the essential areas under dash fuse box is lit and all fuses under hood fuse box is lit when key on.
Little background: b20 b18vtec head, jrsc, 9psi,chipped p72 hondata s200b, ef civic. obd 0 to obd1 conversion etc
ps. i changed the ignition switch recently. took one from a da integra. I plugs up perfect to the ef harness but a few of the color codes wires on the harness is different or in diff location from the one i took off. But it plugs up, operate fuel pump and shuts it off. Dont know if this have anything to do with it. HELP

Fuses all good?
If nothing becomes super apparent while you work around the egine bay and under the dash, try checking power and grounds directly at the ECU

Uh. A25 is power. I believe it grounds through A23/24/26.

Thermostat housing, transmission and valve cover. Check those grounds. Check the negative cable on the battery. Check the grounding of the fuse box under the dash and passenger side shock tower.
Never work on electronics with the negative side of the battery connected. Disconnect it for safety. Is the ECU known to be good?

It may seem somewhat odd, but if you push the clutch pedal down, turn the key and get 'nothing', check to see if the brown plastic/rubber 1/4" circle plug at the top of the pedal didn't rot/fall out. Instead of the switch plunger closing, the plunger just goes thru the hole. [Same thing with brake pedal if the brake lights stay on]

i am not able to retrieve codes from the CEL. running hondata s200b 550 cc injectors tuned.
update: I just found out additional hacking that was done to the shell. The black/white starter signal wire located on the side close to the clutch is not connected. Dont know what the previous owner was doing. So the starter wasnt getting any signal. Could the ecu be looking for this and throw a solid cel. In addition, When we send the signal up to the starter, the lights in the dash dim temp guage jump a little. Then we used a independent 12v wire bypassed the loom and all that did was sparked at the starter signal plug in, would not turn the starter over. Was told that the starter needs servicing. Entire set up been sitting for 6 yrs. What u all think. could cel and no crank be related to this?
ps. spent an hr perfecting all grounds in the car and tested them too. all good

I don't know what Hondata S200B is, but it seems like it sucks if you can't get CEL codes. As far as your issue. I'm out. If it's a hack job you need to go through and trace everything because anything could be the problem. I've seen people cut the harness in half behind the seats. I've seen them pull out things that were needed when removing the AC. A hack job is a hack job. The 6 years of sitting isn't helping either.
i am making tons of progress. it seems one of the following is happening.
1. have faulty obd0 to obd 1 harness( was told i have a faulty ground)
2. the in car harness is faulty. (i will be ditching it soon)
but i connected my ecu to a buddy's obd 1 b16 boost set up and walla no cel and it started the car. (just wounldn't idle due to the diff map setting).
So i know my ecu is good.
Do u think that this wiring issue could be the reason i cannot get a proper tps calibration? Thanks
