D15B OBD1 into D16Y7 OBD2 car, few questions

D15B OBD1 into D16Y7 OBD2 car, few questions
Hey all,
Recently had some issues with my crank pulley coming loose and stripping the end of my crank so I've acquired another motor from some friends to swap in but I want to make sure it isn't wasted time. Tried searching but hard to find any specific info with all the misinformation and slight variations from case to case.
The motor was pulled out of a friend of a friend's car because it was burning oil and assumed bad. New motor went in and after looking over the old motor, we realized the spark plug tube gaskets were MIA/installed incorrectly and we believe oil was just seeping down into the combustion chamber from there. It is a D15B, OBD1 motor, and we pulled it out of a swapped 97 5spd coupe. Not sure what all had been done to that car, but my car is a stock 98 LX automatic sedan.
My plan is to put this motor, which is basically a longblock, in my car and reuse the Y7 intake and accessories. Is there anything else I need to swap onto the D15B motor to make it work? I know VTEC will not work, and I know that with it being an OBD1 motor, that it wont have a crank sensor. Will the car run without it with it's current wiring/ecu? CELs do not bother me so long as it goes up and down the road without issue. I'm not doing this swap for performance gains but this is my daily and I do need it to run well and be dependable but I'm not looking to sink a whole lot of money into it because it's a lame auto sedan haha.

Emissions are def a non-issue here so no problems with that. Thanks for the heads up on the CKF. Looked into it, seems simple enough. If that's all it takes, I will be a happy camper. Should start tearing it apart tomorrow evening and hope to get it done Friday.
I hope it does, but if not, the D15B does have it's dizzy, just needs new cap and rotor and like I said before, it was in a OBD2 car previously so it should, in theory at least, work.
