Okay so here's my problem I have a 93 civic hatch with d16a6 engine and idk what drive shafts to purchase

 

92-00 civic single cam axles. Any.

This is just a single cam D series engine, right? Just like the stock one....

 

As long as it's not a dohc ZC transmission that requires a midshaft and axles from 90-93 integra.

 

Well I did alittle research and found out that the d16a6 trans has a different amount spines for different years does this matter?

 

Yes it is just a sohc d series

 

On the head it's stamped 8l8 and is there any way for me to find out what kind of trans is in my car

 

There's a sticker on the trans. I doubt you have a cable trans in there that originally came paired to a D16A6. Unless someone made a terrible mistake.

If you have a hydraulic trans, any 92-00 single cam civic axles will work. Take a pic of the trans.

 

Any part store shafts will work they always come with a lifetime warranty so meh why not.


I went with DriveShaft Shop(DSS) shafts but they're a bit more then run of the mil shafts

Okay well I can't figure out how to post pics but on one of the stickers it said p20 and I found p20 stamped right above the passenger side axle so does that mean I have the stock trans?

 

Okay well I figured it out I have a stock civic cx trans thanks for all the help

 

As long as the tranny is a hydraulic than just get any 91-95 axle.
