D16 Belt Tensioner: Stud > Bolt
Not sure if this was the right place to post this but It is however fabrication.
I have a d16z6 block, someone previously has messed the threads up and did
a helicoil rig on it. Ive pulled the helicoil out and I've considered putting a double sided stud in the block to replace the bolt setup. I've already done this on the oil pump bolts. Some of the holes around the oil pump had messed up threads as well so I placed some 1/4 20 studs into the block and mounted the oil pump on with nuts and lock washers.
Opinions? Assume doing the same to the tensioner would solve future issues with this.
