What COILOVERS do i need to SLAM my EF ???
guys i need some advice on what coilovers i should by, i want that stance look so the coilovers need to go pretty down low .. i already bought some ksport and they are **** .. they are maxed out im like on lowering spring lol

serious answer:
as some others have (appropriately) sarcastically implied, the real problem with slamming your car is the lack of suspension travel when lowered. you physically dont have room to be down that low, and thats mostly related to the shock height.
so the answer is you need shortened shocks.
just looking around for you out of my own curiosity, it looks like theres some really cheap shortened shocks called "lotek" on ebay. might be worth a try. keep in mind, in order to use EG shocks, you just need to use EG front forks.
there are some other shortened shocks out there. like skunk2 and some other copies (everything made in china is copied...) but why bother spending any more money.
then just get ebay coilovers, and stiffen up the springs by stuffing **** like rubber between the coils. you need a stiff spring to limit your travel.
your ride quality will be ****, but you will be able to drive the car at least. and with a stupid question like this, you cant possibly expect to care about ride quality....
theres other tricks you could do. but i dont care to write them out.

I know this thread is a month old, but just I just wanted to chime in about the Lotek struts in case anyone else stumbles across this thread. I personally decided to try the loteks because there didnt seem to be any solid imformation about them anywhere, just the typical "my friend had them" or "save your money and do it right" responses. From my experience, the shortened struts were not designed for use with coilover sleeves, thus the front sleeves could not be adjusted above halfway (0-3" megan sleeves and springs). I was able to get ahold of the seller and he apologized and was willing to exchange them for a set of the lotek "silver" struts for the front. I have now been driving on the lotek silvers in the front and gold "shortened" struts in the rear with megan racing 450lb/in front springs and 350lb/in rear springs for about 5k. I am lowered about 2" in the front and 2.5" in the rear although i didnt measure stock height, but i can say that the ride isnt bad at all...especially for a setup as cheap as this. All i will say is be careful in whatever choice you make, and i am sure you will realize being slammed isnt all its cracked up to be when you hit small bumps at 30mph and you have to hear/feel the upper control arm bang against the body, thats when i learned lol

If you are running a "camber kit" of some form up front, remove it to gain back some additional suspension travel, which you obviously need.
I made that mistake once, and have dented shock towers from it. Now I actually take the time to measure everything and use bumpstops that can do their intended job.
I did cut the oe bumpstops to about 1.5" however my uca was hitting the body, but because the sleeves werent fully adjustable with the shortened struts i was basically stuck being "slammed". I was able to get ahold of the seller of the lotek shorts and have exchanged them for the silver struts which are oe length and work perfect with my sleeves so i was able to raise the height, but yeah lesson well learned lol. I spoke with a man named Bryant at lotek and he informed me that the gold "short" struts arent fully coilover compatible and that they were designed for plain lowering springs, my mistake for not asking him to begin with, but it was great that he was willing to work with me. I cant complain about my current setup (silvers up front, golds in the back), especially since most companies dont specify their parts will work with my ce6, however a camber kit is in the near future just havent decided which one to go with...I notice alot of people recommend the ingalls. my overall point was the loteks work and they ride decent, just beware using shortened struts with coilover sleeves

The whole point of bumpstops is to provide a cushion and prevent other hard parts from hitting. If anything else can hit, then the bumpstop's compressed length is wrong.
Actually take the time to configure your bumpstops correctly. The improvement in ride quality and reduction in parts breakage is worth the time and effort, especially since bumpstops are so damn cheap.
i agree, by the issue i found with accords is once you are lowered more than 2.5'' (at least with the shortened struts) the uca's are an inch or less from the body, so the shock travel doesnt even come into play since at every slight bump the uca is already up against the body. it is corrected now and i couldnt be happier with the ride, as well as not having to cringe hearing my car suffer going over every bump...definately not worth it to me to be that low, i love the look and all but its not realistic for me. the pics above were taken after i corrected it
