i have a 2000 civic with a 98 gsr and a Skunk2 intake manifold with a no-named 70mm throttle body. will it hurt the motor at all if i cap off the 2 pipes (one on top of TB and one on the bottom) coming off of the throttle body. and also do I cap the small pipe on the back of the skunk2 intake manifold. and also the heater bypass pipe thats under the vtec solenoid.

The one on top is EVAP can be capped the last pic is again evap can be capped, the coolant hoses SHOULD REALLY be hooked up that's the 2 middle pics.

so pictures 1 (top pipe),3 and 5 i can cap. then for pictures 2 and 4 i just run a hose from 2 to 4?

 

yes and yes as you'll have coolant leaking if you don't connect the coolant ones.

also. i capped my heater bypass pipe (front and back of motor) as you can see on picture 4. will this do any harm to the motor. i heard you can do this as long as you dont live in very cold areas. im in florida so i think im okay

 

you capped them or joined them ? I'd join them to be safe, that's what I did but it's a track car so it only sees the hot summer days.

 

yeah i capped them. cause its florida and we dont really see very cold days.

picture 4 is the cap. left side of the radiator hose. i used the same kind of cap for the back of the motor also
