stock p06 on d15/z6 mini me
Have a p06 running my mini due to p28 frying. When im going it seems as though vtec engages around 4500 still. I have a led wired in for when vtec engage that doesnt come on as it shouldnt. When i step on it, there is a noticeable powet increase around 4500. Ill put up a video here shortly, just trying to get an idea of whats going on
That is called the 'powerband' of an engine. If you have ever ridden a 2 stroke dirtbike you will know it well. That is just where the engine really comes on strong, but it is not vtec. Like said before, the P06 is a non vtec ecu.
Powerband is understandable and would definitely be my guess if ive never been in the car. When my stock p28 was connected, you couldn't feel anything.
