Ok guys first off I want to thank anyone who replies with any help to this thread.

I have a decent understanding of these cars but I don't know it all and have not worked on many cars lately

Recently picked up a 95 dx civic coupe. D15b7 The car is bone stock and was previously owned by a friend of a friend.

The car was running great for over 2 years under his ownership.

He had the battery and alternator changed a few months ago
Out of no where started having issue with the car not starting.

It sat for 2 weeks and then I towed it to my place. So far I've only threw on a set of new wires I had and changed out the plugs. The engine is getting fuel but is getting no spark at all.

Before I jump to trying a new distributor is there any other possibilities that could be preventing it from starting.

I've checked the grounds and all are intact, I've read while searching that wires for the distributor can short out preventing it from starting

Fuel pump primes
Fuel to plugs
New plugs
New wires
No cel when starting.

No spark

I'm sure I will get it figured out tomorrow when I have time I'm just wondering if anyone else has any suggestions. I will start testing components of the distributor and kind of go from there.

 

Check your coil and igniter?

 

CEL codes?

 

My apologies cel lights and tuns off when main relay clicks. No cels when cranking either.

I'm hoping it's a coil or icm. All the fuses are good just double checked.

I should have a dizzy to borrow tomorrow quick to test.

Both can be tested.
