Icon4 95 4-door civic engine swap (Thailand)

hey guys i have just purchased a 95 honda civic 4 door ... im an aussie living in Phuket, Thailand and i want to know what is a better engine to put in my car as the current one hasnt really got thee stick to easily climb the hills ... as honda is made here also ... it is easy for parts and motors but i just want to know what you think i should get ... cheers

Generic question is generic.

OP, buy the biggest Honda motor you can afford to put in. C > J > K > B > D. You can get any of them in your car with varying levels of difficulty and cost involved.

d16y8 non boost, oem rebuild with a 5spd VX transmission. You'll be stupid quick.

cheers ... would love to go down the turbo rd ... would i need to swap out engines or turbo original one ... im auto too

is the b16a a good option too have heard there real good motors

no they have zero torque at least get a 1.8-2.0l b-series
